Last updated: June 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what Recasto collects, how we use it, and the choices you have when using the website, dashboard, free tools, and related services.

1. Information we collect

Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, workspace name, login method, and communication preferences.

Content you provide, such as notes, links, documents, images, product details, campaign briefs, draft text, comments, replies, and other materials you upload or paste into Recasto.

Usage information, such as pages viewed, tools used, feature interactions, approximate time of activity, browser type, device information, and diagnostic logs.

Billing information, if you choose a paid plan. Payments may be handled by a third-party payment provider, and Recasto does not need to store full payment card numbers.

Integration information, if you connect third-party services, such as channel names, account identifiers, permissions granted, scheduling choices, publishing status, or metadata needed to operate the integration.

2. How we use information

To provide Recasto's core workflow, including collecting source material, generating marketing plans, drafting content, preparing schedules, organizing libraries, and helping with follow-up.

To operate free tools, generate requested outputs, remember preferences, troubleshoot problems, and improve reliability.

To communicate with you about your account, product updates, service messages, support requests, billing, security, and optional marketing emails.

To protect Recasto, users, and the public from spam, abuse, unauthorized access, fraud, and security risks.

To analyze product usage and improve features, content quality, onboarding, performance, and user experience.

3. AI and content processing

Recasto may process your submitted materials with automated systems to generate plans, captions, summaries, tags, replies, templates, and related outputs.

You should avoid uploading sensitive personal information, confidential third-party data, regulated health or financial information, or anything you do not have permission to process.

Generated outputs should be reviewed before publishing, sending, or relying on them.

4. How we share information

Service providers may process information for hosting, storage, analytics, email, support, payments, security, and other business operations.

Connected services may receive information when you authorize an integration or choose to publish, schedule, export, or sync content.

Legal, safety, and compliance disclosures may happen if required by law or if necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or the service.

Business transfers may include information if Recasto is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.

5. Cookies and analytics

Recasto may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, improve performance, and understand which pages or tools are useful.

You can adjust browser settings to limit cookies, but some parts of the service may not work correctly without them.

6. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

You may request deletion of your account or certain content by contacting us. Some information may remain in backups, logs, billing records, or security records for a limited period when necessary.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

No online service is perfectly secure, so you should use a secure login method and avoid submitting materials that should not be processed online.

8. Your choices and rights

You can choose what materials to submit, whether to connect third-party services, and whether to receive optional marketing emails.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain personal information. You may also have the right to object to certain processing or withdraw consent where consent is used.

Recasto is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. International use

If you use Recasto from outside the country where our systems or providers operate, your information may be processed in another jurisdiction with different data protection laws.
