Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature. Recasto uses them to operate the service, remember choices, and, only with permission, understand use of our public website.

2. Essential and preference storage

Essential cookies and related storage help provide secure sign-in, protect the service, and remember choices required for the site to work. Recasto also stores your selected display mode so the public website can open in light or dark mode as you chose.

These technologies are necessary for the requested service or preference and cannot be disabled through our analytics choice. You can still manage them in your browser, but some features may stop working correctly.

3. Optional analytics

If you choose Accept analytics, Recasto may load Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on recasto.com and www.recasto.com. They help us understand aggregate site use, diagnose usability issues, and improve performance and content.

We do not load these optional analytics tools until you choose to allow analytics. Choosing Reject analytics keeps them disabled. Your choice is stored for up to 180 days unless you change it earlier.

4. Managing your choice

Use the Cookie settings button shown on the public site to change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time. You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing them will cause Recasto to ask for your choice again.

5. More information
